Surveys | How to view Survey Statistics

Surveys are an excellent way to solicit feedback from participants regarding any aspect of a course. It is possible to gather anonymous or non-anonymous opinions and information from users. Unlike Quizzes, survey questions do not have to have right or wrong answers and Likert-style rating questions are possible.

How to open Survey Statistics

From your course page, follow the next steps to find and open the Rubrics tool:

1. Navigate to Assessments in the navigation bar

2. Click on Surveys

Assesment -  Surveys

This will take you to Surveys homepage, where you will be able to see a list of all the Surveys in your course:

3. Click on the downward arrow next to the Surveys name, a drop-down menu will open

4. Click on Statistics

This will take you to Rubrics Statistics page.

View Users Statistics

Clicking on Statistics will open the Users tab.

5. Choose to View By User or Groups

6. Click on Apply

7. Choose to Restrict the view to different options depending on the progress students have in the attempt. The default option is Users who have completed the attempt

Users - View by - Restricted to

8. (optional) Scroll down to choose the users or groups you want to include in the results by ticking the boxes

9. Click on View Overall Results

Tick user or group boxes

This will take you to Statistics Results page.

Here you will be able to see the total responses of the students per question.
