Course copy | Offset dates in a course copy
When copying a course to another period, it is possible to automatically adjust all included dates (announcements, due dates, etc.) to the new period.
This manual will show you how to adjust the offset ranges for the date in a course copy.
Remember that setting offset dates is only possible when using the Select Components option. Read the article How to copy a course to learn more about this.
Offset table 2019-2020 to 2020-2021
The following table shows the number of days that the course components should be offset in order to copy components from a source course (left column) to a target course (top row).

This table is based on the following start dates of 2020/2021 periods:
- P1 - 31st August 2020
- P2 - 26th October 2020
- P3 - 4th January 2021
- P4 - 15th February 2021
- P5 - 15th March 2021
- P6 - 10th May 2021
You can now use this table to calculate the right ranges to offset dates in a course copy.
